I absorbed on how to create a blog. This is the very first time that I have ever generated a blog post. It is very interesting and opened my mind to new ideas. It is so much more diverse from Facebook and My Space.
I have learned that writing process requires more thinking than I thought it would. When we send a text or an informal email, we really don't think about the process as a whole. We jot down what we are thinking without really thinking about it! When writing for this blog, it is so much more intense. You actually have to think and be mindful of the writing process. I pondered the thought that this blog and the writing process go hand in hand. This blog is the writing process and requires some skill to complete.
This blog truly assisted in the research process. Not only did it aid in putting our ideas down on the blog, it will also be used as a guide when writing our essays. We will be able to look back on what we accomplished and apply it to our lives. This blog contributes to our success for the future. It benefits us in indulging in our minds and souls It is part of our education that we cannot live without.
The inquiry question was the toughest portion of this whole blog. Every time I read my inquiry question, I always second guess myself. I felt like it wasn't specific enough or I always wanted to change it. It acts like it doesn't fit into my whole topic and I don't know if it is worded to my liking. People throughout my life have told me that go with your instinct. That is why I haven't changed it just yet.
I have learned to have confidence in my writing. Even though I feel like it takes me plus time to complete my assignments, I know that I can definitely do this and be proud of my accomplishments. There is last thought that I would like to add in this blog. In one of my other classes there was a quote by Walt Whitman "When I wrote that poem only God and I know what I meant. Now that it is written only God knows what it means." Please read this quote and tell me what your thoughts are on this.
This blog has been a pleasure. I ultimately enjoyed in participating in this blog. Thank you for all the inspiration and encouragement that went into this.
I love this quote. I think it means that only God knows the truth of any text. Writing is so complex even its writers can't predict the implications it will have on its readers. Readers are all so different and they will bring their own ideas and backgrounds and selves to the text. Why do you like it, Colette?
