1)Jessica, Hey honey! I hope everything is going well for you and Sage. I have to tell you about my English class. English 1102 with Professor Ingram is off the chain. I have learned so much. I actually know how to create an annotated bibliography now. It is very time consuming and extremely detailed but after I accomplished writing the bibliography, I felt more knowledgeable. Our book about writing is extremely useful. When assigned pages or chapters to read, I have always took notes to help me understand the content better. Some of the topics I really don't comprehend but after asking Professor Ingram questions, I have more sense of whatever I don't understand. This English class is so important because you will always use what you learn in this class. There is not a career I know where you don't have to write of read. Everything that I have learned in this class will always be carried on with me. I hope to see you soon. Miss ya!

2) I wrote the Annotated Bibliography because it opened up my mind to get me prepared for the essay. It helped me contemplate on which way I was going to take my essay. I got my ideas from books, magazines, articles, journals, and from burrowing my mind. The audience of my blogger and bibliography was my classmates and professor. I also think that doctor's and individuals who have sleep deprivation would be my audience for my bibliography. My classmates and professor affected my writing by giving me feedback about the piece and planting different thoughts that I can use. The doctor's and individuals affect my writing because they might disapprove with what I have to say about the subject. I definitely
worked on my references in MLA format. It strengthened my skill by typing all those references. I also worked on how to piece each section together (the six paragraphs all together). It was very hard for me to word some of the sentences together. This piece was difficult for me to write because I am not accquainted with so much research and taking all the information in. I made a lot of revisions to the first three annotations. I didn't think they were clear enough for the reader to understand them. After revising, I felt more comfortable with an audience reading. I really didn't try anything new or take a risk unless I am just naive. I get very nervous about writing because I don't think I can do it to the way the professor would like it completed. The articles and the book that we are reading in class influenced my writing. I learned that it is not easy as I thought it might be. It is very time consuming. I like to try to write words that are not of the average (big words to make me look smarter than I really am). I learned how to compose this piece which I never knew what it was before this. I learned about meletonin that is produced by the body and some medications that are safe and not safe.I also learned some techniques that will help with sleeping. I am learning that I have to trust myself in my writing and be more confident about my writing. I am thinking about adding more annotations and information about each. I also might remove one or two that I don't think might be pertinent to my essay.
3) I thought it fit well with the theme of the class. It made me feel very comfortable getting familiar with the class and not just everything bombarding me at one time. I think it is a great start for the semester.
